Default Floor Covering Options?

My 1987 XJ carpet is done. I can either replace it with a new carpet, a new all rubber floor mat or? Bedliner? Would it be really loud?

What are you guys doing once you carpet is junk?

Mine will mostly see street and sand.

Good sources for floor coverings?

I bedlined my first xj and it wasn't horribly loud, but it doesn't insulate it as well as carpet does. Yesterday I tore the carpet out of my current xj, fixed the rusted passenger side floor, dynomated it, and I plan on putting the carpet back in. I don't care for outside noise or heat, so that's why I'm trying to insulate as well as possible. My jeep sees mostly street and sand as well.
