Default Which Flex-a-lite fan to use?

Hello, Im trying to decide on which flexalite to install on my jeep. The stock fan clutch has failed and I want manual control of the fans. Im looking at a 573 or 575 but not sure. Anyone use any of these? Anyone use anything else?

I hear flex a lite fans deform in water and destroy the radiator. Why not just replace the fan clutch?

This rig wont be seeing water. Its more of a workhorse for me. I just have had personal bad luck with the viscous fan clutchs. Also I find that the last 2 Ive replaced have been irratic in the temerature they kick in at. Also I like having the option to turn them on early when im anticipating a hard pull with some weight on a big hill. (up in BC in the north)
