Default Flares without cutting.

I would not be adding to the MANY fender flare posts but after reading this forum and others I just cant find the answer.
I'm building a new TDI powered DD and just doing some small mods. It has a 2" lift and 31 X 10.50 Duratrac tires on Craigar black V5 wheels with 3.75" backspace.
The tires stick out about 1 1/2" past the stock flares.
I just want to cover the tires, no big cutouts, and no two piece rear flares.
Will the TJ flares work if installed lower on the body?
All the ones I can find are up high for larger tires.
Can they be installed on the rear of a 4 door without cutting them in two and one part on the door?
The closest thing I can find are the Rusy's flares but even those look too wide.

Any suggestions?

Or make your own out of Lawn Edging like the flat ones plenty of write-ups about them.

I have TJ flares and they cover my 33's with no problem but, they might be a little too wide for 31's. Plus, they look stupid imo

Don't really like the flat look.
Just need stock flares with an extra inch behind them.

TJ flares look stupid if the installer is LOL . Mine turned out good I think. Rears kinda look odd, need spacers or a different backspacing. But thats the XJ's fault the body is wider at the rear than the front!

change wheels , you need more backspace like 5 " will do it. sell the other wheels, done.

I hate tj flares **** looks ugly AF
But you sir deserve a award, that looks great. Did you use 2 sets of rear tj flares?

Yup haha I also plan on using rear TJ flares, his and this pictures is my inspiration for it. I think having a 2 door is an advantage to making them look great.

I think the OP would have clearance problems with 5" bs on 10.5 tires.
