Fixing my steering geometry...
Hi all,
My XJ is lifted about 3.5-4" in the front. Drag link and trac bar are almost parallel, but not quite. Enough to get a little bump steer and make my tie rod not perfectly parallel to the axle.
So, what is an affordable option to fix this? I need to replace all the TRE's anyways, so I figured I should put in a better drag link and tie rod (thinking about the rugged ridge kit) while I'm at it, but I understand that probably won't fix my geometry.
SO, should I add a drop pitman arm to the mix?
Thanks all

I doubt you've got noticeable bump steer. What is your caster set to? I'd blame that first.
Short answer to your question, you need to go with crossover steering and an over the axle track bar. This is not a budget option and involves fabrication. But that's the way to go

What about the IRO OTK kit? I want to beef up my steering and that seems like a good solution... of course I suppose that wouldn't fix my drag link angle.
But yes you are correct it's minimal. I suppose I'm mainly looking to replace all the OE worn components with new stuff

I just got some JCR Rock Rods for my ZJ. I only purchased the rods and got the TREs from rockauto, then I had to find a couple of jam nuts (7/8-18 and 7/8-18LH), then a tapered reamer to resize the knuckles and pitman arm. I have not installed yet, so I have no idea if there will be an improvement or not.

Affordable- ZJ tie rod upgrade, new drag link tre, drop pitman arm
Ideal- WJ knuckle swap, otk trackbar mount
Do you have a stock track bar and/or control arms?

I'm on the suggested RE lowers and I have the RE track bar...
HOWEVER
This guy just ordered the IRO OTK setup as well as a new joint for the track bar
I can then look into doing the OTK track bar mount.
