First xj lift
Would anyone recommend this kit doing my first lift kit will be a 3 inch lift driven on roads rarely off maybe in a field every once in a while. I heard rough country is junk. I want it to have a decent comfy ride kids and wife will be riding in it haha and some other guys told me to replace the control arms with the lift. Other wise it will be rough.

Wait until you see the shipping cost of the Rusty's lifts. Rusty's makes good products but I won't buy anything from them because of what the shipping costs.

Apparently you've never actually had a "great" product. Rusty's is right up there with Rough Country and Pro Crap. Check out Savvy and Currie.

Like Chris said, Rusty's isn't knows for their quality... products or service.
Not much you can do about it at this point. Leave a bad Google review, report them to the BBB to share your story.
You could also start a case with your credit card company and dispute the charges and try to get refunded through them.

There are too many quality manufacturers in the suspension world to give Rustys a chance. I would recommend looking at Metalcloak, Currie, AEV and Rock Krawler. I'm not a huge fan of the last two but if it prevents you from buying junk from Rustys, go for it.

Why not get some 3" coils from anywhere thts side to be good.
6" shackes with a shackle relocation
Then some arms from ruff stuff.
Put it all on run it decide if a track bar is needed.
for street rig even brake lines could come later on.
Maybe wait on getting ruffstuff arms to.
