Hey guys
I'm the proud new owner of a '96 xj with a 6.5 lift & 35's. But need to install fender flares. The two I'm lookin at are, Bushwacker and Napier. I don't have experience with either, my question is: Is one better than the other? Napier is much cheaper so I'm leaning that way. Any information you guys have would be great...as I'm installing these myself. Thank you
My xj...as you can see needs flares

 

Both will look great and satisfy the tire spray control function.
Either brand prone to be wiped off if you rub up tight to trees, rock formations, etc.
Me, I'd go the Napier.

I have friends with the Napier and they love them. I just installed the Bushwacker flat flares on my 97 and I absolutely love them. Pretty easy to install, too.

I think either way you go, you'll be very happy. BTW, nice jeep!!

 

The Napier's due to the cost factor and how easy they are to get torn off and broken on the trail. None of them really stop all the spray from getting on the Jeep but stop some and keep the police off your back if they are required.

 

How much do the Napiers run out of curiosity? I've looked at em but can't remember. I was able to pick up the Bushwackers for $415 shipped on eBay.

Napier is about $379 and I have a coupon code for $50 off...so they will cost me about $329....not considering Bushwacker are $499

I went with Napier because they have a set that allows for the rear quarter panel cut and fold behind the rear tire, and I didn't see anyone else that did (there might be, I just didn't see them).

 

Throw up a pic with the Napiers when you get them mounted.

I went with the Napiers myself, Made in the USA by another Jeep enthusiast.

 

Napier Flats all the way. Never knocked off mine or broke em yet. Another thing to consider is Bushwacker Flats stick out further than Napier. Napier gives you more wheel well room though, and Doug is a super nice guy to deal with
