There are 2 diffrent style throttle cable brackets, the one I had didnt fit the "kit" bracket as tight as I wanted it to. I added a piece to stiffen it up temporarily untill I got a diffrent bracket off ebay for $20. I had my oem bracket from my 99,then I bought a bracket off a 95.
Neither, its only a 62 or 63mm. I found it online a couple of weeks ago for just over $100. The bearings on my old bored TB were shot and I thought it might be sticking and causing my random no start and high idle. I did the typical jeep thing and threw a bunch of money at it replaced TB, TPS, MAP, IAC only to find the 5v supply wire internally broken. A 2 minute splice and it was fixed.
For max performance or a race application I agree. But I don't know that bigger is always better for everyday driving. If the TB and intake opening were that big it would be hard to stay out of boost. With the set-up I have, 27% throttle open is the transition from vac to boost and 30%+ is in boost. Around 40% it downshifts into the next lower gear. I can easily make full boost at any RPM in any gear before it downshifts. I try to stay out of boost for best fuel economy, a bigger TB would lower that % of pedal travel when in normal driving. Don't you think? That's my thoughts on it anyway.

suck thru a soda straw and then thru a cocktail stirrer/straw. Both will get the job done but which is easier?
With the larger TB the SC will have to work less hard to suck in the air and because of this the discharge air temp is usually lower which is better.
