Feeler-- D.I.Y. Eaton M62 Supercharger Kit
Saw this and got to thinking,
Would there be any interest in a DIY Supercharger kit like in this pic which would include all the required adapter plates, mounts, pulleys, belts, fuel control? Easy install and return back to stock (should you sell your jeep and want to recoup some of the cast back).
You would just source the Eaton supercharger M62 locally or ebay and install it yourself. It keeps the A/C but it would require a hole cut in the hood (much smaller then in the pic or you could use a JY hood and paint it black to 'save' your stock hood) and a scoop or cowl like hood to cover the cutout.
Would include Everything needed in the kit minus the supercharger and electronics for around $1000. Supercharger about $100 and the electronics about $300-350.
Would be 'low' boost 5-6 pounds max but that would be good for 25-33% increase in HP and TQ. Any other add-ons would just add to the increase, like 2.5" cat back, headers, 62mmTB, CAI, 703's.
150rwhp to 190-200rwhp and 180rwtq to 225-240rwtq.

The Eaton MP62 is a popular supercharger in the Miata Scene, However if you want to do this do it fast Eaton has Discontinued the Mp62 as of a few months ago so the prices on the remaining ones will be going up .

I think that the MP62 and the M62 are different? I'm thinking of the M62 off of the early 90's GM 3800 V6 cars.

If you're really wanting this to take off i would recommend selling 2 different kits.. one that does as you've initially said and requires a hole in the hood, and another that requires removal of the A/C. Most people are fine with removing their A/C, hell I've probably used mine 5 or 6 times in the 3 years i've owned it.

The m62 supercharger will work fine in this application.
The Supercharger is from 1991-1995 Series I L67 supercharged vehicles.
Buick Park Avenue, Buick Rivera, Olds 88, Olds 98, Pontiac Bonneville.
91-93 have 2.55"/64.8mm pulley, 94-95 have 2.85"/72.4mm pulley.
The '96+ are m90's and all have a longer front extension/nose/snout and are too long to fit.
Retaining the A/C seems to be a majority concern when reviewing past threads on the topic.
