Either is a possibility, also the mile high altitude here really takes a toll on NA engines. He finished with a 16 vs my 17. If the belt hadn't slipped I think it would have been a much closer finish.

Here are the hood "scoops" I built for mine to cover the supercharger. I have abut 5,000 miles on my supercharger setup now.

Thanks for posting my pics for me crawlerxj. Can some of the Guys with this kit give me some input on ur fuel mileage you are getting now. I've had mine on for about two weeks now, an judging by how fast the gauge has dropped an the miles that are on this trip. It doesn't look Very good. But I won't really know until i calculate it.

It all depends on your setup. My xj has 4:88 gears and im running 35's. At 60 mph with the cruise set I get awesome mileage because the boost only kicks in on hills and inclines. About 16 mpg at 60 mph. Once I hit 70 mph look out. Thats where the engine is under boost basically all the time because the rolling/wind resistance. I get about 10 mpg at 70 mph. 75 mph is about 8 mpg. This is with an AF ratio of about 11.5-12.0 under boost......but.....if im under 2450 rpm the split second box does not put it in open loop so the engine never sees anything other than the 14.7 AF ratio even though the 7th injector kicks in. I have to be careful not to boost under 2500 rpm or my egt's come way up fast. Id love to hook up and program it but no darn comp. To do it with lol

Well I think I got most of that out of my system last week. I refilled it this week with intentions of easy driving so fuel mileage could be calculated. But everywhere I go someones asking me about it or wanting a ride so I have to show it off a little lol. But for the most part it's just been normal driving this week.
