Fat Bob's 2" BB, Crown HD rear leafs
I installed Fat Bob's BB after about a year of the Crown HD leafs. I have KYB monomax all around. The back end feels stiff as hell. I have about 80lbs of weight on the back in tools. With passengers the rear feels soft. I'm thinking I'm over extended in the rear. The front feels fine. Back measures 20" from center wheel cap to bottom of fender flare. Would a longer shock help in the rear and how much longer?

You definitely need longer shocks. A set for a 2 inch lift should be fine. Fat Bob has bilstein 5100 for 2 inch lift for a really good price.
Thanks! I knew I was over extended, at least on the back. It drops like a hammer on the back end or over large pot holes. I just wasn't sure if 2" or 3" was best. You think I should go all around, front and back? Seems I got an overall 3" lift all around from fat bob's. I think stock is 17.5", 17".

UPDATE: replaced all four shocks with Bilstien 5100s 2" lift. Night and day. Shocks feel much smoother. I had read that stock would work with fat bob's but they didn't. It feels much better now!
