It drones a little, but ive gotten used to it. I dont notice the noise anymore. And yeah, it goes right behind the cat. You do have to get an adaptor from the auto parts store. That muffler is made for a jk, and the inlet is a little too small to fit right on the cat. I also havent noticed any exhaust in the cab.

Love the sound of you exhaust.

For my exhaust i bought a walker down pipe and a dynomax cat back exhaust with a cherrybomb glass pack and it sounds pretty good. not as loud as i want it but it does the job for now

I may have to pick one up...its pretty cheap, easy to install, and it sounds good...so you just hacked it off right after the cat and then got an adapter and muffler clamped it on?

Pretty much. And the baffle inside is adjustable so you can change the tone and backpressure a little.

even though its not my thread, I appreciate the info.
Did you do the work yourself? I am considering just taking a sawzall to it right after the cat

I have a 14" 4x9 oval maggy muffler, picked up for less than 50$ on amazon. PO had a turndown no the exhaust. Not a fan of tailpipes out the back.

A new head pipe behind the header, get a new one to get rid of the huge dimple they have from the factory that pinches the tube diameter to about half. more flow, better sound. cheap upgrade.
