I have a friend with a BAD cracked exhaust manifold on an '89 XJ w/4.0.... Bad enough that the jeep has been parked for 2 years.
He also has a NIB manifold/header and used down-pipe for a '93. He bought the wrong manifold and has a '93 parts jeep.
Can I move the o2 sensor and put the upgraded header on? What needs to be done with the EGR stuff?
And YES.... I told him to get all new mounts.
I searched, but couldn't find my answer.

Put the 02 sensor in the new headpipe you're gonna need.

Have an EGR bung welded into the new manifold.

Some filing may need to be done where the manifold fits next to the rearmost intake runner.

Ok... That ain't Gunna happen... Lol... He's cheaper than I am! And we can't weld.
I'll recommend that he sells his HO manifold and gets the correct one... And his mounts.
