Hear is a question for you guys< I replaced my original (90) 4.0 with a 91 -92 4.0. Where or what can I do to get the balance between the two motors right. Can't find anyone in the state of De to get the flex plate rebalanced to the newer motor. I don't think you can use the newer flex plate because of the crank shaft sensor, flex plates are different between the two years Any ideas??

 

Flex plates can be used interchangeably as far as balance, not fuel injection systems.

Look elsewhere for your issue.
