Engine swap
I have a 98 xj with a good motor that I rolled ... Recently bought an 01 with a blown motor and I was wondering if I can change the harness just to the firewall to eliminate having to use the coil packs ... And does anyone no if the plugs for the tranny are all the same ?

You can make brackets to mount the coil pack. I read some place about using the coil pack for a v-10, the one for 6 plugs, check and see if you can find it searching, maybe from an other forum.

you can just use a dodge caravan coil pack and be good to go, you have to rewire the pulg to match the coil pack is all, buy some wire, and make a mounting bracket and you're good to go, and they have a lower failure rate then the I-6 stock packs
