Hey guys
I'm a new member from Oman if you know where that is

Cherokee cars is our life over there


I just bought a ring & pinion 4:56 from Amazon ( alloy usa ring and pinion )



My tyers are Copper cobra size 31

Will it effect the car if I don't change the tyers ??

Will this ring and pinion give me more acceleration then the stock stuff ????

What I'm looking for is more torque in sand and dunes


I have in my 2001 cherokee till now :

- K&N air intake system
- air aid spacer throttle
- borla exhaust
- afe short headers

Not sure what stock gears are on yours but I'm pretty sure they aren't that deep so yes acceleration will improve but with that small of a tire you'll be running higher RPMs than what you are used to. And if it's 4wd I'm hoping you got them for the front and rear otherwise you can destroy your transfer case.

I just bought 1 set for the rear differential!

Do I have to buy another one now ???
Is the same item ? Or I different set ??

if it's 4wd yes you have to buy one for the front dana 30 its not the same part number, no.
