FWIW,

You could probably use a head bolt with the stud at one end as the motor mount bolt.

Double nut at one end and nut on the stud at the other end.

Shield would be kind of half igloo shaped with a hole at each side for the mount bolt........if that makes sense?

The melted mount I had was that same brand. Seems that material cannot take the heat. Replaced it with stock rubber type and have not had any issues.
