Engine light on

Engine light on
Hello, Recently bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I drove it for over a month with no problems except I got new tires. Yesterday the engine symbol lit up. I rechecked all fluids, everything is fine. Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

The check engine light could be a variety of things. Take your jeep down to autozone or the like and have the code read, then tell us what it is. Then we can help.
