Default Elect Fan Temp Sensor on Block?

I am in process of wiring a Derale High Ouput 2 speed Electric Fan into my 01 Cherokee. Model 18214 - 2100 CFM. I am using the F5 Dual Fan controller from Painless wiring. ...Turns out they use the fan ground wires to control operation and the Derale only has one Ground wire and two positive - so looks like I will be stuck with one speed. ...Ok my fault for not doing my homework on their kit - but here lies my main problem...

The kit calls for installation of a 3/8 or 1/2in Temp sensor into the block or Thermostat housing. XJ only has one "threaded port" which is being used by the Temp gauge sensor at the Thermostat housing. I called Painless and they advised me I can not just tie into those wires I must use their sensor. Anyone have any Ideas where I can install their sensor; or another location to install the stock Temp gauge sensor?
Any type of Y adapter I could use to install two sensors into the same port?
I have not been able to find a threaded opening anywhere on the radiator.

I'm going to need to do something like this too... so I'm thinking I might use the port in the thermostat housing for the fan sensor and then getting a probe sensor to stick in the radiator for the dash gauge.

I'm also wondering if plumbing in a fitting in the heater supply line close to the thermostat housing would be sufficiant to give a good reading for the gauge in the dash...

The good news is I misunderstood the controller settings.. So I can still set the Temps for 50% "ON" with a linear curve increasing speed to 100%, so I'm not stuck w one speed.

Yeah for the Probe locations.. I'm with you, may tryn find an alternate sensor for the gauge.. but first I'm gna tryn plumb a Y so I can use both sensors in one location.

Ok, was easy fix. I just used a 3/8 brass three way and put both sensors at the thermostat housing. Looks a bit un-natural but doesnt stick out too bad.

Fan kicks on 50% speed at 205 runs a few mins and kicks off. If it ever ran hotter the fan would increase in speed reaching 100% by 225. The aux fan would also kick on by then.
Actually i've been running w "only" the aux fan the past few days and it has kicked on at Abt 215, ran a few mins and kicked off.

The in cab 3 way switch is also nice to have.

you can still have a duel speed fan setup with that controller. check out the link below. all you will need to do is wire in a relay on one of the positive legs from the fan controller.

Awesome diagram thanks!!!
I thought there had to be a way to trigger it w a relay..
Well , i think i'm going to keep it how it is.. I still get full speed if I ever need it, or through the switch.. And it stays at half speed the rest of the time...
