Edge 30700/30701

Edge 30700/30701
Ok I have a 99 sport, A co worker said he has a edge trail jammer 30701 which is for 03 and up 4.0L motors. I looked at the instructions and it looks like it just hooks up to the MAP and Air temp. Does anyone know is there is a difference in the 2? I asked him to bring the box in tomorrow so I could look at it and see if there was a big diff.
