Rear is a big bearing 31 spline 9" and a good axle, front is a cast wedge 44 and unless you retube it you'll have to modify the factory radius arms and use them. Lots of folks do and they work just as well as most radius arms. The tubes are weak and in the cast section there isn't any tube. These axles are full width at around 66" wms to wms. BTW a 79 is a full size Bronco and not considered and EB, EBs are the smaller body style that stopped in 77.

Sorry I forgot a price. Rears sell for 100 bucks around here and you can get the cast wedge 44s for less than that.

IIRC the EB-44 axleshafts have 260 series u-joints.. no strength gain unless you opt for custom shafts.

The rear nine is a great buy. Ide junk on one of those. How much would you guys pay for a 78 bronco 9 with a ARB and 4.10?
