Durango steering box you lose noticable steering radius
For u all that have done this did you notice a decent amount of steering radius gone? I just did it this week and went wheeling today and it sucks. I'm taking it back off and going with a reman cherokee one I guess. It's definitely noticable. I can't think of anything g I would have done wrong also.

Ya know it surprises me how many people install these Durango steering gears... The output bearing is the fail point for this component on big tires and repeated trail use, so why do people expect them to be "stronger" when the output shafts and bearings are identical...
bandwagon upgrade anyone?

The 33-35 range is that awkward in-between stage for the XJ. Everything is practically maxed out (axles, steering mounts, steering gear, etc..) and now you need to move that point of failure further up. Just like how a stock assembly can take 31-32's, you need to set yourself up for 37's. Otherwise, you'll just keep breaking stuff.
Hey but these are all opinions man...
