For those of you that have the Truetrac units installed in your rig (front and/or rear) how have they been holding up? Being an engineer I don't like how the "spider" gears are only supported by the carrier and don't actually have bearings (this is what I've gathered from my research, if I'm wrong lease educate me, pictures preferred.) Meaning, when under load they just rub on the carrier causing accelerated wear. I have seen and read a few reports on forums and you tube where people have had them eat themselves in even as little as 10,000 to 15,000 miles. These reports have typically been on pickups though so I don't know how well they hold up in a Jeep application. Can anyone chime in on this?
I want to make this point though: I don't want to hear what you've read on the internet. I want to hear from people that have first hand experience or know someone directly that has had experience. Lets keep this direct and on topic please.
