Ya i dont like them straight out the back, seen way too many crushed like that from going into a dip, i have always took mine out the back corners, can hear them better with the windows down and not near as likely to crush them. And my exhaust right now is turned down right after the muffler(on the right, under the back passenger) and what i dont like about it is the fumes that come in the pasenger doors if you leave them open for a couple minutes. Couldn't tell ya about the sound being the muffler on it now makes it near dead silent

PS. This is why im getting my exhaust redone^^^

 

I think my 4.7 sounds good with the single 3" flow and tri-y header. But I do have a different Cam lol maybe ill post a video today
