they do but a winch will drain a battery rapidly. Depleting a battery too much will shorten it's life. In my case I'm running a large audio setup and need much more than 300amps.

175$ for that? Your joking right?
First off why are they made of diamond plate? For 175$ is better be polished billet aluminum. Where is the mill work? At my shop we typically cut plate on a laser or with the plasma. We most certainly don't use a mill.
All this is, is some scrap diamond plate welded to a piece of drop angle iron.
Just because it took you along time to make something doesn't mean it's valuable, it's a pretty simple bracket to make!

Oh don't worry, I won't be buying a "150$" bracket I could make myself in 30 minutes.
I'm also willing to bet no one else will either, since it looks like they are made in high school shop class.
I feel as if we're all being trolled, does this guy honestly think that's worth 150$?

I think 150 is a good price after you factor in paint, material to make bracket, argon, tungsten, filler, wear/tear on bits for the mill, hardware, pulley and a belt.

That's about 5 bucks worth of scrap steel, welding consumables actually are that expensive. One can of spray paint would cover a dozen of these.
You shouldn't even be using a mill, I could make that with a hole saw and a 4.5 grinder.
For comparisons sake open up a summit catalog and look what highly precise all machined billet aluminum brackets cost. Then compare them to this thing.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze people!

So your telling me you make these at home on your own mill with your own bits?
Not at work in the navy yard where materials are free and you use all the navys materials, which we pay for as it is?
Thanks for serving, but dont bs us!

Where exactly is the mill work on the $hitty bracket?
Seriously people zoom in on this turd and look at how terrible the radius cut looks?
You claim to be a "metal smith" whatever the hell that is, no fabricator on earth worth his salt would ship a part with a rough cut edge like that. The quality is absolutely terrible on top of the fact your using diamond plate instead of a proper material.
I'd be embarrassed to ask $150 for this
