Is there a "easy" way to drive my 95 xj with out the rear driveshaft? Some type of plug in place of the yoke maybe? Just want to drive it around the block to isolate a vibration problem with out losing all my t case fluid.

Just leave your yoke in place when you pull your drive shaft.

He would have undo the ujoint for that. When I blew my rear driveshaft in tug of war I just wrapped a plastic bag around the output and ziptied it to get home.

IF anything drains out let it drain. Then drive around the block. Won't hurt a thing. There is more than enough fluid left in the t-case to to wheel with.

I had to drive about 40 miles without a rear drive shaft. No worries.

The Ho I believe has a sealed output? Around the block should be fine.

plastic bag and duct tape.

driving without anything covering it can easily pump out all your fluid, and theirs not much in there to begin with

later model ones are. the earlier H.O. require the yoke to seal.

idk about all of the fluid, but it sure can make a mess. the pump doesnt pump directly into the output.

I know it can run it pretty empty. It may not pump directly there but fluid works it's way there to lubricate. So why even risk it.

Aren't you lucky?

Why chance the mess and potential for damage?

Gonna save yourself alotta cash by avoiding the $2 gatorade and 10¢ worth of duct tape?
