Default Driveshaft swap conformation

Looking to head to the junkyard this weekend, and I did some searching but here at work the PC is not displaying the forum correctly, ugh

I'm going with a 4.5" Rusty's/RC mixed lift, and an AA SYE kit. Would a front XJ driveshaft work in the rear position until I can save and get a Tom Woods made? I know there are some differences, but in general...

XJ/ZJ front shaft will work the whole time (and imho) better than a tom woods. if you can find 3 shafts that are equal length and fit front and rear just run them forever. you can swap them back and forth and have cheap spares. that's the setup I've got going on right now. (I believe this works for auto trans only. haven't measured the DS's on a manual trans xj yet)

Thanks guys. I want to have everything set once I dive into this on a weekend as it's my main DD right now. My Ranger is down with an engine swap (2.9L to 5.0L) and the Jeep needs to be done quick and dirty until the Ranger is back as the DD

I have an auto trans with about 4.5 in lift. Using the same front shaft for the rear, fits perfect.
