I recently got these new leaf springs from dorman ( stock hight )
Since it was the cheapest pack of leaf springs

Will I ruin them if I remove the clips and put sky jacker add a leaf to get my 3" lift ????

Aal are not ideal especially on saggy springs but won't hurt your new springs.

 

But I heard that maybe when I add a leaf to this new leaf springs , some sounds may appear from the springs

 

Any one else can share his experience on this please

 

screw the aal, use an extended shackle.

 

You won't ruin them but the aal will probably sag after a year or so

 

or pick up a couple junkayrd xj packs, cut the main down and one more, add those to the pack. they wont be a different arch than the stock pack, and they'll be soft so the ride wont be too stiff. should add as much lift as an aal

 

I did use 2" shackles but still didn't get the 3" behind!! Maybe 2.5"
And in front 3"

That's why I'm thinking now to get skyjacker add a leaf to make it equal
But I will have to remove the original clips from the new leaf springs

I'm afraid to hear some noise after I aal

 

I don't think you'll ruin them if you're careful. You might even be able to reuse them after you put the aal in the pack.
