yes but it is way off, at least the bottom hinge, its like hitting the panel and like bending it in, did you run into this problem? and did you take the doors off when doing the mod cues ive seen someone not take off the hinges and cutting. i was wondering if this is easiest?

You lose any shims? Sounds like the door is forward enough to catch the fender it needs to go back a little.

I bumped the fender with the door a little at first but it solved itself I guess. I did cut it with the door on, Idk if that really effects it but I didn't want to strip the stupid torx bolts

i unbolted my door from the body when i modified my hinges. far easier, and i was able to align it better than it was before.

I am not a fan of those torx bolts! That's what's given me the most trouble with my doorless conversion (newer Jeep, different hinges)..

on mine it took alot of little movements and readjusting. haveing a second person to hold the door helps. i ended up takeing off my front fender, shutting the door and tighting up that it makes a good starting place. you can do the same on the rears.

it isnt that hard to mod but to align back up is giving me problems. it took maybe an hour to take door off and cutt and maybe 3-4 trying to align it..............BUT i have a 2dr so its a bit more difficult

all i did was cut the door pin, i never touched any of the torx bolts and never had to re-align anything. just pop the bolt out that i put in place of the pin when i want the doors off, and put the bolt back in when i want the doors back on
