Got some wj door handles and want to try to mount them in place of the original xj handles. Does anyone know if there has been a detailed thread posted before? Ive seen it on the google machine and so it must be real but I cant find a write up

I like the pull open design and its easier for kids to use instead of the stock xj ones

Anything can be done but your changing from a push button to a pull it will take some fab to work.

If I might suggest something "DON'T" do this on the doors on your XJ. If you must try buy a junk door and play with that and when/if you ruin it no great loss like it would be to your XJ. Then if it comes out really great go from there.

Looks like you can run the rear WJ handles on an XJ, but you can't use the front door handles from a WJ on the XJ.
