I have 94 cherokee and I have cut the lower portion of the hinges to allow me to remove them. But when I put them back on the front passenger door catches the quarter panal. I can get it shut by lifting and moving it around but the lower half of the door is pushed out about an inch. Only thing I can think of is the weld poped on the body hinge or bent? Any thoughts and suggestions on how to fix it or what it might be will be appreciate. I will put pictures up tomorrow morning. Thank you

It's probably bent or the welds cracked, my 01 needs both the drivers and passenger front doors realigned. I'm holding off until I install a set of notch custom high clearance fender flares.

Also check the holes that the pins go in if there all walled out then that will be an issue too.

Thank you. That's what I thought. Could I just sty bending the hinge back if it's bent? Same for the weld bend and re weld?

The hinges should be adjustable just like all door hinges.just have to play with them.unless the pins are wollowed or bent.

Make sure you have the shims also, they make a big difference!!
