I think that comment was directed at me. Not much can go wrong with a bumper besides, wrong mounting holes drilled out, missing hardware, and bad welds but I'd rather have a company which can fix those issues if they arise.

Ah yes males sense. And I agree. My bumper was sent out missing the bracket to the frame. Being able to have issues fixed is very helpful.

If your jeep is known for overheating prior to the installation a winch will make the problem worse. An overheating issue should be taken care of either way.
If your temps are currently normal a winch will not make much of a difference (if any).
The stock fans move more than enough air. You could probably block more than half of the radiator without overheating.
