Most of the aftermarket bumpers I see have the winch mounted right in front of the grille. Does anyone with a setup like this have any overheating issues? I'm looking to get a bumper and winch soon.

No issues with thousands of miles driving to off road events.

No. Alot of us would be overheating. Hopefully Fred posts a pic of his setup. His whole grill is blocked. As long as your cooling system is maintained you will be fine.

You could always mount up a second electric fan and run it as a on demand if you want to have that piece of mind.

Depends how high or low the winch sits,Some bumpers drop it down good some sit it high.

I don't have any heating issues with mine, but do have a new stock cooling system in it. On or off road even running the AC. I bought the bumper cheap and decided to try it and see it worked and for $40 was a bargain all it needed was sanding and paint.

If your cooling system is operating correctly your vehicle will not overheat, that being said I plan on installing the OR Fab bumper so that my winch won stick up in front of my grille, though this will limit my options for a winch.

Be aware with that type of winch mount it is very hard to rewind the winch cable properly (with a load and with coil spaced against the next one) if not problems the next usage.

Heads up, this is also a discontinued bumper. OrFab went out of buisness.
I
I have it on my MJ and cant say anything bad about it yet.

Well I guess I'll be looking for another bumper manufacturer..lol. Bumpers are still available on amazon but I'd rather not get a bumper with no support from the manufacturer.

Like said before. If you have a properly working cooling system you will be ok.

What could go wrong on a bumper?
