diptard needing advice
hey there again.. local moron here needing aome wise words from those with the wisdom.. I put a ~3 inch lift on my 96 xj sport. 4L 231 tc automatic... anyhoo.. put a tc drop on it to mitigate the drive line vibes cause thats what the wallet would allow. Spent all day yesterday putting the terraflex sye in because thats what one does when they can finally fit it on thier credit card. So.. got it all in with few issues and was quite pleased with myself.. got it on the road amd at 35 mph it started shaking. seeming to come from the front end... looked at the front ds and some idiot didnt have one end in the yoke correctly... fixed that and it brought the vibes down to 25 mph and made them worse.. I plan on taking the front ds out and going back over to my buddies to wrench on it some more . any advice or tips?? anyone?? or just make fun of me either way there is wisdom in all things thanks !!

As I understand it, death wobble is caused by either worn or incorrectly installed steering or suspension components. Could be a coincidence and something unrelated to your driveshaft has worked loose or failed? Adjustable track bar maybe, if you have one? Tie rods? Steering stabilizer? Drag link? Ball joints? Hell... it might just need an alignment. Really hard for me to say. Maybe just get under there and do a thorough inspection of all the components. Look for wrecked bushings or wallowed out mounting holes.
If you plug "death wobble" into Google there are a ton of resources on addressing the issue.

did you separate the front driveshaft into two pieces and put it back together at any time? the drive shaft is balanced in one orientation, if you pulled it apart and then put it back together in the wrong orientation the balance could be off causing vibrations.
another possibility is during the install you accidentally knocked the balance weights off the driveshaft if you dropped it or banged it against something this could happen
