I have the IRO longarms and really like them. I heard the bushings go bad in the RC longarms.

I was also looking at this RC setup for my rig. Thanks to everyone's input ill reconsider this route.

On this note, whats the advantage and/or disadvantage of a 3 link vs. the 4 link setups. And does it make a difference on the 3 link if the upper control arm is on driver side (top of the diff) or passenger side?

And i see ppl are saying good things about IRO kits, but what about these guys? anyone tried them? http://froehlichsuspension.com/4-link.htm

Thanks for the info and sorry if i hijacked the thread.

I haven had any experiance with RC but i havent heard alot of good thing about it from the forum either. Lots of problems with bushing.
I bought and installed the IRO 6.5 critical long arm kit over a yr ago. The driver side upper controll arm was my only real consern when i was looking at the lift. I spoke with IRO mutiple times. hey always had time no matter what. even after Hrs. their customer service was amazing. They told me if i break it they will replace it. The single control arm on the passanger side has been no problem what so ever. LOVE THE LIFT!!!!!!!!!!!

I know alot of people see me on here alot abot IRO. But look at my biuld. Look at other biulds. Call IRO. Ask questions.

4 links bind, they work good but the cherokee isn't the ideal rig to get link geometry perfect. the 3 link on the pass. side is best cause of clearance issues, look on NAXJA there are a ton of threads discussing this

We have several guys here that make LA set ups, why not check out their stuff too....just food for thought. FrankZ makes a nice LA set up, and I have seen it beat on....HARSHLY, and it comes back for more...

I know this is an older thread but I would just like to let all you guys out there know that we have now upgraded to 1-3/4 solid lowers with 1-1/4 Ruffstuff chromoly heims by popular demand. Of course the kit went up 150 dollars but I believe you will find its well worth it. If you have any questions let me know. www.froehlichsuspension.com

I wish I would've offered the heavier kits back when you ordered. I never heard back from you. Was wondering if you got everything worked out... What all did you have to customize? I know you were doing some different stuff, pics?

too bad he uses weak links and only 7/8 heims in his setup, i have his crossmember cause i figured save some time and buy it but i had to modify it a ton so i should have just built my own. but i run my own 3 link with 1.25 heims in 2" x .281 wall dom. much stronger than any "kit"
