Death Wobble After Alignment?
I finally got around to the alignment shop today after lifting my jeep (3in full leafs, coils, shocks, IRO adj track bar). I'm running 31x10.5xr15 tires. I had been driving the Jeep around with terrible alignment for a couple weeks. As soon as I had it aligned I took it up to about 60mph then I hit a bump, felt like the whole front end was gonna fall apart. Not sure if it was full on death wobble but it sure felt like I was going to die. Came home and put a breaker bar on the LCA, trac bar, and tie rod bolts, all were pretty freaking tight. Took it down a bumpy back road at around 55-60 and same thing happened. I don't have to slow down to a complete stop before it goes away, which is why I'm not entirely sure if it's full on DW. But why would this happen AFTER the alignment and not before? Had it aligned at the local Firestone in case anyone is curious.

definitely full on deathwobble.
Ive never had a shop alignment but what ive seen others say is that shops like firestone and any that dont specialize in lifted vehicles dont take that into account and set it to factory spec

They didn't give me the spec sheet. I'm going back tomorrow to have them double check everything, and yell at them. I'll make sure to get a spec sheet while I'm at it. Anywhere I can find the correct specs on an alignment for lifted jeeps?

I did go back in and they checked everything. They informed that my steering stabilizer was shot (which it is, actually noticed it leaking when I was putting on my lift and never addressed it) and that one tire was low on air. According to their tech all I felt was the steering wobbling back and forth but not the entire axle. Alignment was spot on but they did double check it for me and gave me a spec sheet. Caster was at 5.3, can't remember off the top of my head what toe in was. I'm a bit skeptical about the diagnosis but I also haven't had it DW since the other day. I ordered a Rubicon Express Steering Stabilizer for like $36 so I'll throw that on when it gets here and see what happens. Liberty Guerrilla see if you can find a local 4x4 shop and have the alignment done there

A bad stabilizer does not cause DW. I hate idiot techs who have no idea what they're talking about.

Nothing to add but the fact that DW is scary as crap. Had it happen to me the other day...though I had a flat or something at first until it went away when I got down to 40mph
