i have a 98 cherokee, after noticing that the fog light switch burning out was kinda a common problem i thought i would put a different switch in. i cut the stock switch plug out and i couldnt wire a different switch in with the switch i had. after cutting that plug my dash lights dont come on when i turn on the head lights and nothing dims. i literally pulled out and checked every fuse. they are all good. i used connectors and put the stock fog light switch all back together since me messing with it had to have something to do with it but still nothing changed. i have no idea what is going on but it all happened when i cut the wires to the switch. if anyone has any idea of what to check i would greatly appricate it, thanks
