i had a 8.8 in my old 5.0 and you could do wheel stands on that axle in stock form, but i love my dana 44, just wish i could find some disc breaks for it!

Best to look for one out of a 95+ exploder. They all have 31 spline with disc brakes, and are almost the exact same width. off by about 5/8" on each side. I wasnt aware that any rangers came with 31 spline shafts but i guess ya learn somethin new every day!
