Default Dana 30 pinion question
My pinion bearing is bad and I'm replacing it. Can someone please tell me if there is supposed to be a crush sleeve on the pinion shaft. Thanks in advance!!

Which pinion bearing is it? there is an inner and an outter...but yest here is a crush sleeve. Motive Gear part number 1114 I beleive.

It is 4.10 gears

That looks like a XJ/YJ hp D30 pinion = No crush sleeve.
Low pinion D30 DOES take a crush sleeve.

It is for a hp 30. So no crush sleeve? Cool
