dakota bastard pack
Im looking to grabe some dakota leafs to make a bastard packs. From what I have read you want leafs that that go under that axle because of the arch but some people perfer leafs from a 4x4. From what I've seen is that 2x4 have under the axle leafs but 4x4 have over the axle leafs. It looks like the 2x4 have alot more arch then the 4x4 ones. Im looking to do about a 3" lift which leaf pack should I pick if I have the option of both?

U can also use s10 leaves...I had an extra set from my s10 and did a bastard pack with them and netted about 4.5in lift...u can play around with the leaf combo and net the amount of lift u are looking for

Thanks for the info. I did know that s10 packs will work also but I believe they were all under axle leafs(please correct me if im wrong). I will take s10 or dakota packs I am just unsure as which dakota pack would be best if they are my only option.

correct all s10s are spring under...i would assume the dakotas would all be spring under as well...manufactures usually keep stuff like that the same across the model line
