daily drive with lockers
my buddy got lay off so he's selling his 7.5 lift parts plus front and rear axles that are re'geared, chromoly axles, front wj knuckle swap, and lockers in front and rear axles. my question is my xj probably will see more road than trails. i want to know how will the lockers effect my xj being on dry pavement most of time. will my tires wear out quicker?

I run a spool. I'd rather be barking than clicking. I've really developed minor hatred for rear lunchboxes. so I'd also sell it off if you don't plan on really tough rock crawling. even with an automatic you will see some tire wear after 6 months or so. great come-up on all that other gear though. nothing beats getting a good bargain on used parts.

Yep. And it's your money spending $400+ to have a shop do it. My garage setup D30 ring and pinion outlasted the rest of my jeep. Never thought twice about it
