I am making custom short arms for the time being and I have 4 brand new oem LCA bushings sitting in front of me. The majority of the bushing measures at 2.25 OD and the outer edge of it measures at 2.28. What size outer sleeve will be necessary? Will 2.25 ID DOM suffice without modification/ machining? I would think it would be very tight on the end but looser with the rest of the bushing. Let me know what you guys did when you fabricated control arms with oem rubber bushings.

I dig the forged poly bushings to uikd adjustable arms. Standerd poly bushings are nice to save a buck.

Not sure what your doing with factory stuff.
a set of calipers and order whatever size is needed can get short chunks of most anything on ebay..
I've found good deals on poly bushings sets for my arms and stuff..

can make most poly bushings be whatever width i want. As long as they are wider to start. Its alittle harder to grow bushings than reducing them.
