Default Cross member thread stripes

the cross member threes stripped on the unibody. Can that be drilled one more size up and retapped with a larger bolt?

Where exactly is it? Im assuming its the transmission crossmember. Did you strip a nut, or a stud? You might be able to drill and retap if its a nut, or you might be able to knock the nut out with airtools and use a nutsert or a rivnut to replace the threads. I have no idea what size you need tho.
