Coyote Enterprises Internal Bead Locks
I have run a very similar product for a few years on my enduro and rally bikes known as tubliss with minimum complaints..
So the Coyote internal bead locks are really appealing since they balance easy, dot legal, I can use them with my factory rims and maintain the stock look I am trying to somewhat keep with my build.
Does anyone have experience with these

But with a steel rim you can still damage the rim or rip off a valve steam.Unless your gonna weld on a rock ring and armor around the valve steams its not going to be as good as a true beadlock. If you want a dot bead lock have you seen http://www.badwheelsinc.com/store/ The h1 beadlocks are kinda dot but they are 16.5 so tire options are limited.

So you have experience with these on steel rims and tore off your valve stem?
This is all new to me...so why would this not be considered a true beadlock?
If I'm not mistaken aren't there flush style valve stems that could be used?
Why did you switch from an internal to an external with steel rims? What bead locks do you currently run?
Doesn't a external ring protect one bead where are an internal protects all 4?

I wanted a set of beadlocks also and didn't want to pay the new price for a set so I went to several Dirt Track Auctions over a year ago in the off season. I ended up purchasing a set of 5 in 2 different auctions with the correct size and offset for just over $225. I also bought a used sipping tool with 3 tips for the gun for $65.
Then shopping here and 3 other 4wd sites bought 5 used 35x12:50x15" decent used off road tires that I re-grooved. I bolt these on when I need them and trailer the rig to the spot best of both worlds.
The re-grooving idea came from another member here some time ago, I had did this when dirt track racing but never thought of it applied to 4x4's.

The valve steam in taking about ripping off is the stock one on the rim not for the inter beadlock. On paper those sound good but its still rubber and has air in it you could pop it if you run over a nail at low pressure or run over something big. Most beadlocks have extra protection on the outter bead of the rim so you don't damage the rim. With those you have no rim protection so you can damage the rim enough you could have problems with.Only beadlocks i have used are h1 i got them cheap used and was recentered already.
