Default Cowl Intake-Random Speedup

I installed a Thor cowl intake on my 99 a few weeks ago, and just realized that if I have the AC or heat on, my jeep seems to randomly decide it wants to go faster. It's not extreme, but I can hear the increase in noise the intake makes when it chooses to speed up, as well as feel it pull forward. This only lasts a second or so, and it's not an extreme change in speed/Rpms. Anyone know why it would do that?

Turning your A/C on will put more load on your engine, so your RPM's will go up slightly. This is normal. You might of just noticed it due to the whistling intake.

Thanks, that makes sense. It's just never actually sped itself up on its own until after the cowl intake going on.
