The only way you are getting something that's not welded like that is if you get a forged Johnny Joint or similar. But let's be realistic, you aren't getting arms made with them that cheap.
Realistically, even the crappiest made aftermarket arms are going to be 100x's stronger than stock stamped steel parts. I can't attest to the quality of them, I also am not an IRO fanboy. They make some decent stuff and also have some poorly designed stuff.
People on ths vary forum run
core 4x4 arms.
Rustys arms.
And iro arms.
What arms do you have since your so vocal about the core 4x4 arms??
Lol I have the factory ones installed since I will be deploying in a few days but after I get back I'll have either Clayton or TNT long arms. I put my lift on my XJ but haven't been able to use it because I travel a lot for work. Thanks for asking!!

Lots of local guys to me run Core 4x4 parts. Short arms , long arms , steering. It's pretty beefy stuff. Some are easy on their rigs others beat on them like a rental
I just installed my Stg 1 Core adjustable upper arms and RCX control arm drop brackets.. Took all of 5 hours since I did it in the driveway and not at the shop. Let's just say, the upper arms are beefy compared to the stock stamped steel ones and even the RC's that my friend runs on her XJ. (I don't even know how the stocks hold up with a lift). I will report on them when I get to wheel it in a few days.
