so I was looking around the internet and i stubble across these control arms.
anybody running these?

a couple TJ GUYS over at jeep forum are running them and they like em for the price.

(sorry if i put this thread in the wrong area)
Core is nothing strange, they are just a small fabrication shop. They sell through eBay rather than a website. But the price isn't that great. It's average, here is a link to a well proven set of lowers, good quality and warranty.

189 vs 165, so 24 dollars more for a better design and great service/support. There are several other brands that are the same, 175-200 for great arms. So I'm not going to bash Core, just know that with the cheaper price comes a less durable arm in the long run. Fred makes a great Jeep point as well, buy the best you can and avoid bargain shopping because it never pays off. Good luck on the arms and post what you do.

These forums are always a mix of knowledge and knuckleheads swirling around. So it's fair to say there is a lot of stupid and a lot of smart as well. I've learned a ton over the last two months and I always thought I knew quite a bit about Cherokees. The forum has made me realize how much more there is to know and has been fun.

Online forums are also full of pushy self important wind bags who spout personal opinions and theories without listening to anyone. Never realizing the true value of discussion about pros and cons, features and designs. The conversation helps educate the original poster and everyone else who reads it later.

My 2 cents is go with the IRO control arms. Not to diss core 4x4, because I'm not familiar with them at all, but IRO is a great company, and their control arms are pretty darn nice.

On the left side the picture see the bushing and the metal around it right,See the hex head stuck to it that is a bolt they welded on to the bushing sleeve. Most use a bushing sleeve that has a threaded shaft made on to it like this http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/11087.html Now welding the bolt on to the sleeve like they did is a really bad idea. The heat from welding kills the strength of the bolt so it will fail there first.

Its not a bolt, its a separate nut that gives you something to hold so you aren't using the bushing as a brace

I bought a pair of adjustable uppers (for stop-gap until I can get long arms), they are well made

You might consider Rustys as well, mine are well built, reasonable price and haven't had any issues with my adj. upper or lower arms.

What were telling you are better arms are only a few dollars more and better arms are easy to sell when not needed. Do you understand what we mean try Rustys price is good as well as quality only about $20 more.
