Default control arm drop?

What's the best control arm drop for the money. I know of 3, RC , RE, and rocky road. Rocky road seems to be the beefiest. Does anyone have any of these and can provide some feedback. How did it improve your ride and how was the instilation? Any help would be awesome. Trying to make a decision soon and I just want to hear from some people that actually have this. Thank you.

i had the rubicon express drop brackets that came with my 5.5 inch short arm kit.
i can say these things are beefy as hell and well designed.
they mount to the stock control arm mounts and follow along the frame rail to where the cross member bolts through them.

i think they're better designed so if you hit the axle, it won't rotate the drop bracket and rip the stock mounts off. i've heard that happening with one of the other designs.

might i say, they flex like a long arm tho.

mine are sky jackers, you cant see them on their website unless you look at there 6 or 8 inch lift they are in the pic, i think these are the best ones out there.

That looks like it might as well be a long arm upgrade! Does that replace the transfer case crossmember?

yea it raplaces it, it comes with a few holes so you gave have 1 inch drop or stock location, i did have to lengthen my rc control arms, idk what kinda you have but with these your lcas need to be 20 and 1/8th inches eye to eye, so its kinda like mid arms, but they work awesome.

I just have stock uppers and RE fixed lowers that came with my 3.5 lift. I'm going up 2 inches in the front that's why I was going to do the drop brackets.

yours probably wouldn't be long enough in stock location, every time i go up i have to screw mine out a bit to get the axle were it needs to be.

those skyjackers look pretty good.

my re used stock length fixed arms. although, they are a 3 piece design that is kinda difficult to figure out at first.

Do the RE drops move the mount forward at all from the stock location?

The reason I ask is because the RC one says it drops it 3" and moves it forward 1/2 inch.

It does move it forward a little. The brackets were designed for stock arms but people running 4.5 and up use aftermarket arms.
