The only problem I see with this entire setup is with rotating the throttle body. The air is going to favor one side of the manifold rather being able to flow evenly to both halves. I'm wondering if this is going to be a problem

 

So after disassembly, I ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner. It needs some manual persuasion and another soak but it's like 90% clean. After I do this, I'll get a rebuild gasket kit and start to inquire about parts.



I'm currently putting together a Frankensteined NP242 transfer case that takes precedence over this thread, it can be found here:

Once that is done, I'll jump back over here and finish this overhaul. I'm also not trying to dump money into this throttle body because I plan on upgrading to a larger bore. But Intel then, cleaning will suffice 😁
