2000 XJ Throttle Body, Intake Manifold Q's
I've found next to nothing about an intake manifold upgrade and I've only been able to find two throttle bodies so far. I guess I'm looking for recommendations/opinions on which throttle body and which intake manifold to go with.
I've read some about people upgrading older XJ's with the intakes from newer models, but since I'm fairly sure that my XJ came with that intake stock I'm wondering what is available as an upgrade.
The only throttle bodies that I've found are a 62mm made by Rubicon Express and there was one other brand though I don't recall which one. The second brand has a 62mm and a 68mm option too. I'm under the impression that 62mm is the largest an XJ can really go.

98 and older xj's can upgrade intake manifolds and get 15+hp.
you, having that newer intake already (mid-99+), have only one option to net the same gain....swap your head to a 91-95 head.
to meet EPA requirements, chrysler had to make the exhaust ports smaller, making it more constricting...less flow. the intake manifold made up for the hp they lost by doing that.
a 62mm TB is what I would do. and 19lb ford mustang 5.0 injectors.
