Comp Cut road legal?
Ok here's my thing...I've spent WAY too much time on pirate and on here and now I wanna go tons, stretch it, and comp cut! Not talking about doing it tomorrow but it's on my to do list so I was wondering if anyone that's done it has had any trouble with the five-O. I really like 98CherokeeSport's current setup. Also, I'll be moving to Monterey, CA in August for the Army so if anyone near that area can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.
Here's what I wanna do as of now...

Since you're coming to CA make sure you stay emissions legal or you will not be able to drive your Jeep. Emissions laws are strictly enforced here.

I live in Monterey CA. Right near what's left of fort Ord. I can tell you that you'll need mud flap for sure. My friend keeps getting busted for no mud flaps.

Good luck driving that on the roads in Cali. You will need tire coverage not to get stopped frequently. Also, you'll need turn signals, side marker lights and a plate light.

Good god man! Is Cali really that strict??? Guess I need to start adding these things now! I'm cool with mud flaps and flares but I'm not feelin the side markers!
I'm starting my "AIT" in August at the Defense Language Institute. It'll take me 18-24 months to finish so they consider that my duty station.

Ok just so everyone knows the rig pictured above is NOT mine. I like his comp cut but it may be a little too much for my purpose considering it's my DD. Was mainly wondering if anyone has the comp cut, still drives it on the street, and what "removable" parts you've added to keep the police off y'all behinds?
This is my baby "Clotile"!!!
